Like it or not, a company's leaders have a huge impact on the firm's public image, and when the CEO of a company is seen as greedy, incompetent or disingenuous, everyone suffers. To combat this, Libby Sartain suggests looking at leadership as a service role, in which the boss works for the company every bit as much as the company works for the boss. Executives should ask if their leadership leaves employees, "healthier, wiser, liberated, more autonomous and more likely to become servant leaders themselves," she writes.
