CFTC considers curbs on energy, commodity trading

Wall Street banks and futures exchanges might feel a pinch if the Commodity Futures Trading Commission approves proposals to curb commodity and energy trading. The watchdog will consider limiting the number of futures contracts each trader can hold. Banks are expected to fight another proposal that would reconsider exemptions from limits imposed by the exchanges.
