Column: Eco buildings move beyond design of New York skyscraper

Green advances in Bank of America Corp.'s new tower in New York include ventilation through the floor rather than the ceiling and a co-generation plant that reduces demand from polluting power plants in the summer, writes Bloomberg architecture critic James S. Russell. However, he notes that green architecture in the U.S. has moved beyond the building's green features since it was designed several years ago.
