Green certification attracts buyers to Denver condo building

A key selling point of Denver's Spire condominium building is its LEED certification, according to officials with Nichols Partnership, which developed the project. The building's air filtration system, trash recycling chutes and use of recycled materials all comply with LEED standards. While green buildings generally cost more to develop than traditional buildings, experts say the costs are eventually recovered in the form of lower energy bills.
