Math, reading scores increase across the board in Pennsylvania

Students at every grade level scored higher on Pennsylvania reading and math tests this year, a result state Education Secretary Gerald Zahorchak called "remarkable." He credited state projects such as tutoring, preschool and full-day kindergarten. A breakdown of results -- including factors such as school, race and income -- is expected next month.
