3 ex-GE bankers are accused of rigging bids for municipal contracts

Three bankers who worked for the General Electric unit that sells investment contracts to state and local governments were indicted, accused of manipulating what was supposed to be a competitive bidding process. The Justice Department said Dominick Carollo, Steven Goldberg and Peter Grimm were charged with fraud and conspiracy.
