AHA survey shows fewer hospitals make "Most Wired" list in 2010

An American Hospital Association survey indicated that hospitals are finding it tougher to meet the criteria to be named "Most Wired," with only 99 out of 1,280 participants making it to the list this year. The results, based on measures such as clinical quality and infrastructure, mark the need for hospitals to focus beyond health IT adoption to leveraging the technology to improve work flow and patient care.
