Arizona immigration law is reined in by federal judge

A federal judge blocked parts of Arizona's immigration law, including a provision that made it a crime not to carry proper immigration documents. Other parts that were struck down include requiring police officers to determine the immigration status of residents when they are stopped for minor violations and making it a crime for illegal immigrants to seek work in public places. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer plans to appeal the decision.
