Juniper spends $70 million for a maker of mobile-security software

Juniper is acquiring SMobile Systems, a provider of software and mobile-security technology, for $70 million and will pull SMobile's technology into its Junos Pulse platform, which provides WAN acceleration, security and remote access for mobile devices. The network-gear player has high hopes for making strides in the healthy market for mobile-client security.
