Commentary: EU-U.S. trade deal will require bipartisan support

Gardner Peckham, managing director of Prime Policy Group, writes that Republicans and Democrats will have to work together for the U.S.-EU Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership to succeed. "[President Barack Obama] will need to continue to work not only with EU and other European officials, but perhaps most importantly, he will need the active support of Congress as a whole," Peckham writes. "This is one area where true bipartisan cooperation in Congress and between the legislative and executive branches will be absolutely required in order to achieve success."
