Flexibility gives Ontario summer-school programme an edge

The Toronto, Ontario, school district has launched a pilot programme in which students at 24 summer schools participate in an inclusive learning environment with the goal of improving literacy and maths skills. The schools have flexibility in the curriculum they offer, and work to make summer school fun by incorporating activities such as dance.
