H&M "late to the party" as it aims to open US online store

Hennes & Mauritz AB is expected to launch US online sales of its cheap-chic clothes next month. The Swedish-based company has twice postponed opening its website for sales and is looking to make up ground lost to competitor Zara, which has been selling online since 2011. Stifel Nicolaus analyst Richard E. Jaffe said H&M is "late to the party" for online sales and said that to succeed, "they need to be competitive from day one."
