Samsung produces faster embedded memory for mobile devices

Samsung Electronics says it has started volume production of the world's fastest embedded-memory chips, the eMMC Pro, asserting that they are capable of transmitting data at 400 megabytes per second for smartphones and tablets. Samsung also said this week that it will introduce new Galaxy S4 and S4 mini models for overseas travelers that will be interoperable with both variants of Long-Term Evolution technology.
