Amid swirling rumors over who will succeed Ben Bernanke as chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, the White House said a nomination decision won't be forthcoming until fall. The reported leading candidates are former economic adviser Lawrence Summers and Janet Yellen, currently in the No. 2 job at the Fed.
