Ala. governor cites conflicts of interest in university trustee's removal

Marvin Wiggins has been dismissed from Alabama State University's Board of Trustees after Gov. Robert Bentley wrote a letter outlining alleged conflicts of interest. Bentley said that Wiggins' wife's work at a university-run summer camp had generated payments from which Wiggins "directly benefited." Wiggins said he is considering options for an appeal.
