Seattle schools to give parents online access

By November, all Seattle's high schools and middle schools will have joined The Source, a new district network that gives parents online access to students' grades, attendance records, test scores and homework assignments. Since about 40% of district students come from low-income families, officials are working on ways to provide access to families without PC or Internet access.
