YouTube has technology in works to solve copyright problem

Google unit YouTube, responding to federal copyright lawsuits filed against it by Viacom, England's top soccer league and indie music publisher Bourne, told the trial judge that "hopefully in September" it could implement new technology to prevent copyrighted clips from being posted to the site.
