Members of Minnesota's Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party proposed a bridge-safety package Monday as the anniversary of last year's deadly bridge collapse approached. The proposal calls for more frequent inspections and an easier way to pay Minnesota Department of Transportation engineers more.
