Apple: Unauthorized iPhones put networks at risk

Apple has warned that "jailbroken" iPhones will pose a strong danger to the nation's telecommunications networks by way of hacker attacks that could cause cell-tower software to crash. Apple lobbied the Copyright Office to block a proposed exemption to current law that would allow the use of unsanctioned iPhone software.
