Climate change could harm Hawaii coastal communities

The Hawaii Conservation Conference presented a grim view of the effects of climate change on the islands. Rising sea levels could flood coastal communities and erode the shoreline of Hawaii's beaches. Experts predict the hotter temperatures could also harm coral reefs and force some animal species into extinction.
