Blog: Airline fees should not be taxed

James May, the president and CEO of the Air Transport Association, responds to a blog asking whether ancillary fees should be taxed. Airlines oppose any additional government taxes on their passengers. "Given the belt-tightening and financial strain that families and businesses already are under, a tax on passengers would be unwise," writes May.
