EPA upholds GHG-endangerment ruling

The Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday dismissed requests to overturn its finding that greenhouse gases endanger human health. The requests, from attorneys general of two states, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other groups, challenged the connection between human activity and climate change. In a written opinion, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said the petitions lack merit.
