Growth in India brings supply-chain challenges for Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart's growth plans for India have been hampered by governmental regulations that restrict sales by multibrand foreign retailers. Long-term, industry experts expect a larger challenge on the supply chain front, as the country lacks the large refrigerated warehouses and other facilities needed to move and store goods on a mass scale.
