Hawaiian wind farm gets a $117M helping hand

A Hawaiian wind farm has received a $117 million loan guarantee from the federal government, helping to ensure that the 30-megawatt project continues as planned. The site, which features a dozen Clipper Liberty turbines, is part of a broader effort to have 70% of all Hawaii's electricity sourced from renewables by 2030.
