Kansas airport receives 2 grants for improvements

The Salina Airport Authority accepted airport grants from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Kansas Department of Transportation. The grants will fund a new fire station and three taxiways at Salina Municipal Airport in Salina, Kan. "It's really essential in developing the Salina Municipal Airport into a premier aviation facility for all of Kansans and also users from clear across North America," said Tim Rogers, director of Salina Airport Authority.
