Lawmakers want answers from EPA on higher ethanol blend

Members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are seeking information from the Environmental Protection Agency on the implications of raising the ethanol-blend limit in gasoline from 10% to 15%. In a letter Thursday to the EPA, the lawmakers asked whether the higher blend would affect engine performance or worsen pollution.
