Marketers shouldn't lie to their mothers

Marketers need to act transparently and make their intentions and their organizational affiliations completely clear to their readers, writes Andy Sernovitz. If you feel the need to mislead your audience, it's usually a sign you're doing something wrong. "If your own mother would be confused by what you're doing, ask yourself, 'Why are we lying to our moms?'" Sernovitz suggests.
