Ohio sets record for federally funded road workers

Stimulus funds were used to pay more than 8,000 Ohio highway workers in June, state officials say, an increase of almost 20% from the previous month. Collectively, Ohio road workers received a record $10.5 million from the federal fund. "We are putting more Ohioans to work and helping to ignite the state's economic engine," said the state's transport chief.
