Texas researcher focused cloning to create disease-resistant livestock

Duane Kraemer, a researcher and authority on in-vitro fertilization at Texas A&M University, is working on a controversial cloning project aimed at creating disease-resistant livestock. Kraemer's efforts have succeeded in producing several cloned animals, including a cat called Carbon Copy. About 25% of the cloned animals have some sort of genetic abnormality, Kraemer said.
