U.S. alleges Iran deal with al-Qaida

Iran made a deal to help al-Qaida operatives facilitate movement, training and supplies through its territory to militants in Pakistan, U.S. officials say. Iranian authorities have provided money and recruitment services for militants headed for Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to U.S. Treasury Department documents released Thursday.
