Better-paying jobs more likely to be filled through social media, study finds

The higher a job pays, the more likely it will be filled through "informal recruitment" on social networks, a study from North Carolina State University finds. Researchers found the chance of a position being filled through social media recruitment grows 2% for every dollar of hourly pay offered for the position.
