Despite challenges, AirVenture is stronger than ever, says Pelton

Despite the challenges the Experimental Aircraft Association faced as AirVenture 2013 drew closer, the event is expected to feature more performers and more vendors than ever, said Chairman Jack Pelton. The event will focus more closely on experimental, general aviation and vintage aircraft, and Disney's new movie, "Planes," will debut Friday. "This year, we're hoping to get back to a very strong sport aviation culture," Pelton said.
