DJO launches device to help address muscle atrophy

DJO Global is making its Empi Phoenix electrotherapy stimulator available, which comes on the heels of an FDA clearance for the device. The technology, designed for in-home use, is intended to help prevent muscle atrophy, manage pain and minimize swelling in patients receiving ACL repair or total knee replacement procedures.
