Expanded math requirements lead more N.M. students to summer school

Beginning with the class of 2013, Albuquerque Public Schools students must complete four years of math to graduate. In the past, students had to complete only three years. The change has resulted in more students taking math classes during the summer to satisfy the new requirement. To help meet the demand, the district has expanded its traditional summer-school offerings and launched an online option.
