H. pylori infection linked to better peptic ulcer outcomes, study says

Data link Helicobacter pylori infection to better outcomes and shorter hospital stays for patients with peptic ulcer bleeding, according to a study from the Medical University of South Carolina. Researchers said patients who used nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs also had better outcomes and shorter hospitalization.
