Hudson's Bay expects to open new Saks stores in Canada

Hudson's Bay Chairman Richard Baker says there will be at least seven new Saks Fifth Avenue stores opening in Canada after his company completes its purchase of the U.S. retailer. A further 25 Off Fifth outlets are planned as well. The company will also save money by converting lower-performing Saks locations into Lord & Taylor stores. The merger means Hudson's Bay will operate 320 stores.
