Medicaid expansion eyed by approximately half of U.S. states

An analysis found that approximately half of U.S. states agreed to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Avalere Health's Jenna Stento said 27 states have decided not to expand Medicaid or are clearly leaning in that direction. "It's roughly split down the middle (of the country) with roughly 23 states and the District of Columbia agreeing to the expansion," she said.
