Poll: Many mothers report trouble affording diapers

A survey in the journal Pediatrics showed that 30% of mothers, particularly single mothers, said they have had difficulty affording diapers for their babies. The survey also found 8% of mothers said they resorted to extending the use of diapers by partially cleaning and reusing them or not changing wet diapers as often.
