United adding more Wi-Fi and mobile boarding at all U.S. hubs

By fall, United will enable fliers to scan mobile boarding passes at all domestic airports. In addition, the carrier is expanding satellite-based Wi-Fi installations. "Towards the end of this year, we will begin installing streaming video on our satellite-based Wi-Fi, marking the start of our shift toward providing in-flight entertainment content for our customers to use on their own devices," said CEO Jeff Smisek.
