United, ANA discover wiring issues on 787 transmitters

United Airlines found a pinched wire while inspecting the 787 emergency transmitters as required by the Federal Aviation Administration. Meanwhile, All Nippon Airways found damage to wiring of the transmitters on two of its 787 aircraft. The inspections were ordered after a similar issue was discovered aboard an Ethiopian Airlines 787.
