Wal-Mart, JCP among online leaders in back-to-school sales

Parents doing back-to-school shopping online are turning largely to brick-and-mortar retailers including J.C. Penney, Wal-Mart, Macy's, Sears and Staples, according to data from Experian Marketing Services. "Brick-and-mortar stores are getting the majority of search traffic to date," said Bill Tancer, general manager of global research for EMS.
