Anti-fracking group wants EPA to enforce Clean Water Act in Ohio

An environmental group in Ohio wants the Environmental Protection Agency to assume enforcement of the Clean Water Act in the state. The organization says the Ohio EPA "is no longer fit" for the task. A lawyer for the group, which opposes horizontal shale drilling, sent a letter to the U.S. EPA administrator saying the state EPA "has been stripped of its protective role."
