Atrophic scars respond to fractional laser plus poly-L-lactic acid

Atrophic scars caused by surgery or acne improved with topical poly-L-lactic acid after treatment with an ablative fractional CO2 laser, researchers report in the journal Dermatologic Surgery. Scars improved based on an overall examination of appearance, atrophy, color and contour.
