Doctors emphasize vitamin D consumption

Noting the current recommended daily intake of 200 units of vitamin D is not sufficient, doctors now advocate ingesting at least 800 units a day. A lack of vitamin D has been linked to rickets, colon cancer, bone fractures, MS, high blood pressure and diabetes.
