Data: Merck's Isentress is most-prescribed HIV drug

Merck & Co.'s Isentress is the most widely used drug among people with treatment-resistant forms of HIV, outperforming Pfizer's Selzentry and other similar medicines, according to research firm MDRx Financial. Since their approval last year, Isentress and other new HIV drugs have helped prolong the lives of about 40,000 patients in the U.S., a researcher said.
