Earthquake rattles Southern California but no injuries reported

A moderate earthquake shook Southern California yesterday, rattling buildings from Los Angeles to San Diego. The epicenter of the magnitude 5.4 quake was Chino Hills, located 29 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. No injuries or major damages were reported, but the California Department of Transportation was still checking freeways for damage.
