County officials want to monitor tolls on Virginia's Dulles Toll Road

Higher tolls on the Dulles Toll Road in Washington's Virginia suburbs would pay for about half of the $5.25 billion total cost of the Silver Line Metrorail. Patricia Nicoson, president of the Dulles Corridor Rail Association, believes people will pay the higher tolls "to get somewhere on time, particularly to avoid future congestion." However, county officials want the airports authority to justify its proposed toll.
