GM expects Chinese sales to skyrocket more than 70%

Because China's stimulus is enjoying considerable success in boosting domestic spending, General Motors forecast that Chinese sales will increase by more than 70% this month. GM China President Kevin Wale said sales will total about 140,000 vehicles for July. Analysts said they expect the country to replace the U.S. as the world's biggest automotive market this year.
