Panel announces priority list for swine flu vaccinations

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices on Wednesday recommended that pregnant women, health care workers and children 6 months and older be the first to be vaccinated against the swine flu. Parents and babies' caregivers, nonelderly adults with high-risk health conditions and young adults between 19 and 24 years old also are included on the list. Around 120 million vaccines will be available in the country by late October, according to government estimates.
