Airbus plans to increase output as more orders come in

Airbus parent EADS said it will increase jetliner production because it received several additional orders. The company plans to increase production of the A320 narrow-body craft from 34 a month to 40 a month by 2012. "Where we were cautiously optimistic, [now] we could say we are optimistic, but we still have to be vigilant," said EADS Finance Director Hans Peter Ring.
